No. 1 UNC Field Hockey Beats Syracuse, 4-3, In Overtime


The top-ranked North Carolina field hockey team won its third overtime game in a row Sunday, beating host Syracuse 4-3 on a goal by in the 67th minute of play (Highlights). Matson scored three of UNC's four goals against the 11th-ranked Orange (8-8) to record a hat trick for the second game in a row. With the OT win, UNC improved to 15-1. (GoHeels.com)
