Tar Heel Football Notebook

Few questions remain about the running ability of Barrington Edwards or Cooter Arnold. But the player who sees the most snaps against Tech will probably be the one who does the best job at blitz pickups. "They struggled towards the beginning of camp," Matt Baker said. "But in the last week or so they've picked it up faster than I expected. I've done a little bit extra with Cooter on the field, pulling him aside every now and then and talking to him between periods. Barrington is pretty good about knowing what to do."
