UNC coach Roy Williams' personality part of his legacy

Numbers and hardware alone don't explain North Carolina basketball coach Roy Williams' appeal. UNC fans love him because he's down-to-earth, colorful, and one of them. As successful as he is, when many people think of him, the first thing that comes to mind is his folksy personality. You don't get the nickname "Daggum Roy" without earning it. (WXII)
