Byron Sanders copes through hoops


Forgive if he wasn't much in the mood for a vacation. The North Carolina senior forward, who hails from Gulfport, Miss., had much bigger things on his mind last week as the Tar Heels prepared for their weekend trip to the Bahamas. Mostly Sanders was concerned for the well-being of his family, whose Gulfport home sustained noticeable damage from Hurricane Katrina last week. (Fayetteville Observer)
