Dame’s Chicken & Waffles planned for years to bring the popular Durham-based restaurant to downtown Chapel Hill, moving into a space on East Franklin Street in 2019. Now, after waiting through a turbulent 2020, its doors are opening. The fourth location of the restaurant started serving a limited-time menu this week at 147 East Franklin Street.
