He slept in his uniform as a kid. Now, Dazz Newsome awaits his NFL dream.


Already clad in his jersey, football pants, and high socks he put on before he went to sleep, awoke in Hampton on the mornings of youth football games prepared to take the field. It was a scene his dad saw over and over starting when Newsome was about 6 years old. There was never any doubt about the young man’s passion. (Virginian-Pilot)
