UNC DB Welton Spottsville Enters Transfer Portal

UNC defensive back Welton Spottsville has entered the NCAA transfer portal. Spottsville, a rising junior, was projected to play a reserve role in the Tar Heels' secondary this coming season. After playing as a true freshman mostly on special teams, he was moved to nickelback ahead of the 2020 season, serving as the team's backup nickelback.
