John Bunting settles some positions

The depth chart still sports the word "or" plenty of times, but North Carolina's starting lineup became clearer Tuesday. Coach John Bunting said that junior Larry Ed-wards had beaten out senior Jeff Longhany at strongside linebacker and that senior Mahlon Carey would start ahead of sophomore Trimane Goddard at strong safety. "I had a dream. A crystal ball," Bunting said jokingly when asked how he picked the starters.
