Austin Love led the way for North Carolina in game one with his second straight complete game and a career-high 15 strikeouts in a 3-2 win against Georgia Tech (Highlights). Love paired his 15-strikeouts with zero walks. Dominant from the start, he surrendered just two runs on eight hits. With the win, UNC claimed its fifth consecutive victory.
