Daavettila, Jones/Scotty Reach NCAA Women's Tennis Semifinals

UNC would not be denied in the quarterfinals at the NCAA Women's Tennis Singles & Doubles Championship on Wednesday. Senior Sara Daavettila won in straight sets to reach the semifinals, while Makenna Jones and Elizabeth Scotty cruised into the doubles semifinals as well. Daavettila becomes just the fifth UNC player to reach the NCAA semifinals.
