Junior linebacker Tommy Richardson was on his way to a team-high seven tackles against Miami last year. But his most important contribution might have come during a brief outburst at halftime. "Play for each other! Don't worry about missing a tackle," he said, jabbing a finger at a defensive teammate. "If you miss it, he's going to be there. If you miss it, I'm going to be there."
