Michael Carter signs $4.29 million deal with New York Jets


is officially a New York Jet. The fourth-round running back signed his rookie contract on Friday, according to the team. It’s a four-year, $4.29 million deal, which includes an $807,000 signing bonus. Carter's 3,404 career rushing yards were fourth best in UNC history and the most by a Tar Heel running back in more than two decades. (USA Today)
