Jerry Stackhouse was National Player of the Year in 1995, a first-team All-American, first-team All-ACC, NCAA Tournament Southeast Region MOP, ACC Tournament MVP, and his UNC jersey is honored in the Smith Center. Stackhouse was the epitome of an alpha dog. And while he was undersized at 6-foot-5, he could play both in the post and on the perimeter.
