UNC Baseball Signee Dalton Pence To Miss Playoffs With Cherryville

Cherryville baseball standout Dalton Pence’s next pitches will come wearing Carolina blue. After departing his team’s 9-4 win over Thomas Jefferson last week with soreness in his left arm, the UNC-bound lefty has been ruled out for the 1A baseball playoffs. Pence’s Cherryville career ends with a 9-3 pitching record, a 2.83 ERA, and 165 strikeouts.
