Erin Matson Named NFHCA National Player Of The Year


For the second year in a row, junior has been named National Player of the Year by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. The honor follows a slew of others for the Tar Heel forward, who also repeated as the Honda Sport Award winner and three-peated as the ACC Offensive Player of the Year and a first-team All-America selection.
