On the first day that college coaches could evaluate high school basketball recruits in person in over a year, Dereck Lively was a star attraction. North Carolina coach Hubert Davis and assistant Brad Frederick, as well as Duke coach-in-waiting Jon Scheyer and associate head coach Chris Carrawell, were among those on hand to watch the 7-foot-1 Lively.
