The stories of Tar Heel coaches who led multiple different teams, Part 2


was the namesake of Fetzer Field, the former home of UNC’s soccer and lacrosse teams. From 1921-25, he and his brother were the co-coaches for the UNC football team. They led the team to a 30-12-4 record, but most notably, they were in charge of the 1922 team. That season, UNC shared the Southern Conference championship. (Tar Heel Blog)
