Former North Carolina guard/forward Charlie Scott was a two-time, first-team All-American in 1969 and 1970, a three-time All-ACC selection, ACC Male Athlete of the Year, Patterson Medal recipient, named to the ACC’s 50th Anniversary team, a Naismith Hall of Fame inductee, and his UNC jersey number is honored in the Smith Center rafters.
