Artist, UNC alum Bob Timberlake celebrates over 50 years of professional painting

Bob Timberlake has been capturing the quiet, rural scenes of American life in his paintings for more than 50 years. Paintings of stacked hay in a weathered barn, or of late afternoon shadows about to overtake an old bucket filled with cherries illicit peaceful moments for viewers. But those hushed moments he captures don't come from quiet thoughts. (Lexington Dispatch)
