Marquette transfer Dawson Garcia visiting Illinois
Posted Jun 29, 2021
Marquette star Dawson Garcia is visiting Illinois basketball on Tuesday. Garcia, a 6-foot-11, 225-pound forward, entered the NBA Draft but earlier this week entered the transfer portal and is weighing all his options. Last season, Garcia — a 2020 McDonald’s All-American — averaged 13.0 points and 6.6 rebounds as a freshman for the Golden Eagles.
