Notebook: Roy pays a visit to football practice
Posted Aug 26, 2005
The North Carolina football team played host to a high-profile visitor Thursday morning. Roy Williams, coach of the school's NCAA champion men's basketball team, made an appearance at practice and addressed the team for a couple of minutes about halfway through the workout. Williams wasn't interested in answering questions from reporters, but he watched some drills, spoke with Coach John Bunting and visited with UNC radio legend Woody Durham.
