Joey Bozich is a 6-foot-2, 225-pound redshirt freshman from Hinsdale, Ill. His bio in UNC’s media guide is brief and notes no all-anything honors while in high school, although he passed for 1,813 yards and 19 touchdowns and ran for another 669 yards and a 10 scores as a senior. His Carolina accomplishment of note is that he holds a Tar Heels quarterbacks record by power cleaning 315 pounds. So why is he one snap from the spotlight? (Wilmington Star News)
