Sam Howell Named To Maxwell Award Watch List

Sam Howell, a semifinalist in 2020 for the Maxwell Award, will begin the 2021 season on the watch list that was announced Monday by the Maxwell Football Club. Howell has re-written the UNC record books in just two seasons. His 68 total touchdown passes are the most though a sophomore season in ACC history and are tied for the Tar Heel school record.
