North Carolina (4-8 overall, 3-5 in the ACC) looks similar to Illinois. As with Ron Zook, Butch Davis restocked a fading program with talent. With that raw talent, the Tar Heels went 3-6 in games decided by a touchdown or less last season, when 11 freshmen and sophomores started at least seven games.
