Day'Ron Sharpe Selected by Brooklyn Nets in 1st Round of NBA Draft

UNC freshman forward Day'Ron Sharpe was selected with the 29th pick in the first round of the 2021 NBA Draft. The Phoenix Suns selected Sharpe, but traded his rights to the Brooklyn Nets. The NBA announced the trade Thursday, although trades won't become official until August 6. Sharpe will be the 16th former UNC player to join the Nets franchise.
