Opening the football season at a Virginia Tech program that has defeated UNC six of the last eight times and in 13 of their last 17 meetings is good for this UNC squad. There's nothing like having that challenge to get a club’s mindset right before the first kickoff. Players say facing the Hokies in their raucous house at the season’s outset is alright by them.
