NCAA sets timetable for dramatic overhaul of how it governs collegiate athletics

The NCAA Board of Governors on Friday called for a constitutional convention in November, the first step toward launching dramatic reform in how the multibillion-dollar enterprise of college sports is governed. That begins with examining the NCAA's very foundation. Action on proposed changes to the organization's constitution is expected to be taken.
