John Bunting pleased with QB Matt Baker

Carolina’s first full scrimmage of the preseason Saturday revealed some weaknesses, positives and confirmed coach John Bunting’s belief in the team’s most important player. The Tar Heels scrimmaged for 2 hours in 96-degree heat at Kenan Stadium, taking the opportunity to work on every facet of a game. Instead of running a set number of plays, the controlled scrimmage followed a script focused more on situations than pitting one side vs. the other.
