Carolina’s first full scrimmage of the preseason Saturday revealed some weaknesses, positives and confirmed coach John Bunting’s belief in the team’s most important player. The Tar Heels scrimmaged for 2 hours in 96-degree heat at Kenan Stadium, taking the opportunity to work on every facet of a game. Instead of running a set number of plays, the controlled scrimmage followed a script focused more on situations than pitting one side vs. the other. (Wilmington Star News)
