UNC Basketball Legend Phil Ford Celebrated in New Brand

For the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, the USA men’s basketball team was coming off a controversial loss to the Soviet Union four years prior. North Carolina head basketball coach Dean Smith was tasked with leading the team back to gold, and he put UNC players Phil Ford, Walter Davis, Mitch Kupchak, and Tom LaGarde on the roster to help him do that.
