Jawad Williams signs with Japanese team Yamagata for 17th professional season

Jawad Williams is heading into his 17th season of professional basketball after signing with the Yamagata Wyverns in the Japanese B-League 2. Yamagata, based in northern Japan, plays in the second-tier of Japanese basketball. Williams has played in Japan the past four seasons, and the 2005 National Champion has played for 16 teams in 9 countries.
