Tar Heels in NFL camps: Javonte Williams making strong impression; 4 Tar Heels expected to start

There is a lot of excitement about two rookies listed as backup running backs — Denver Broncos’ Javonte Williams and New York Jets’ Michael Carter. They are two of 27 Tar Heels in NFL training camps. Williams played more in Denver’s exhibition opener and is getting first-team reps because presumed starter Melvin Gordon has dealt with a groin injury.
