Dereck Lively receives $500,000 G League contract offer

The G League Ignite has extended a professional contract offer to 247Sports' No. 1 overall prospect Dereck Lively for a reported $500,000. It's been a meteoric rise this summer for Lively. The 5-star center had jumped 39 spots from No. 42 to No. 3 in 247Sports' rankings update in late June. He was named top defensive player in the Nike EYBL. (247 Sports)
