There’s one Tar Heel on the defense that doesn’t get mentioned as often despite having "improved as much as any player in North Carolina's program," according to defensive coordinator Jay Bateman: junior defensive back Giovanni Biggers. "When he was a freshman, physically he wasn't quite ready," Bateman explained. "But he just kept working."
