UNC Volleyball Beats SMU To Win SMU Invitational

Highlighted by 17 kills from freshman Mabrey Shaffmaster, North Carolina defeated SMU 3-1 Saturday in the final match of the SMU Invitational (Highlights). The Tar Heels finished the tournament undefeated, going 3-0 with wins over Pacific and Stephen F. Austin. In the tournament, UNC's newcomers shined, with five cracking the starting lineup.
