Top five basketball commitments of the week

There was no bigger commitment this week than Emoni Bates joining Memphis to play alongside his close friend Jalen Duren. Most weeks Jalen Hood-Schifino choosing Indiana would qualify as the top commitment of the week as it’s a huge addition for the Hoosiers. VCU had a major recruiting victory this week by locking in a commitment from Alphonzo Billups. (Rivals.com)
