Bears waive rookie WR Dazz Newsome

Former UNC wide receiver Dazz Newsome’s cut was the first real surprise given the Bears currently have five receivers on the roster, including preseason darling Rodney Adams. Newsome received a bulk of the punt returns during preseason, so with Newsome gone and Tarik Cohen sidelined, there’s a question as to who will return punts this season. (USA Today)
