No. 2 North Carolina's (5-0) defense led the Tar Heels to a 2-0 women's soccer victory over Northwestern on Thursday at Dorrance Field (Highlights). Claudia Dickey and UNC's back line allowed just one shot, the fewest against the Tar Heels since Belmont recorded zero on November 16, 2019. Rachel Jones gave Carolina the 2-0 lead in the 86th minute.
