Jeremiah Gemmel Leading, Setting Standard for UNC Defense

Jeremiah Gemmel has developed into UNC’s leader, not only for the linebackers but for the entire team. He didn’t play a single snap in the 2021 spring game. Instead, he was a coach on the sideline, tuning up the young guys to make sure the Tar Heel defense can achieve its goals. You wouldn’t know it now, but Gemmel wasn’t always outspoken and vocal.
