With Dazz Newsome and Dyami Brown gone, North Carolina needed one of its young wide receivers to step up, and against Virginia Tech Josh Downs was that wide receiver. Downs caught eight passes for 123 yards and a touchdown in the season opener. Check out his highlights here.
