One of the most influential people in Michael Jordan‘s career was his legendary college coach at UNC, the late Dean Smith. Jordan often said it was Smith who taught him everything about playing team basketball and learning the essential elements of becoming a great basketball player. When Jordan came to UNC, he was still rough around the edges.
