Walk-on tight end Michael James living UNC 'dream'
Posted Aug 11, 2005
Walk-on tight end Michael James described his situation at the University of North Carolina as a "dream come true." He just didn't the envision accomplishing that dream the way he did. James wasn't just glad to be a member of the practice squad as a tight end. He wanted to be able to walk out of the tunnel in front of thousands of Tar Heels faithful. "There is a good chance that I will see some time blocking, but I am not sure about catching passes. A lot of the coaches told me that I had impressed them."
