Football preview: North Carolina
Posted Aug 10, 2005
UNC's football schedule is even more brutal this season and four-year starter and record-setting quarterback Darian Durant is no longer around to run the show. The Tar Heels start a week late, have road games against Georgia Tech, NC State, Louisville and Miami; home games against the likes of Wisconsin, Utah and Boston College, then will tackle Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. "Things get a little easier next year," Bunting joked. "We've got Notre Dame." One thing is clear, the Tar Heels and new quarterback Matt Baker better come out of the gate swinging.
