North Carolina Throttles Georgia State in Home Opener

Sam Howell showcased an added dimension to his offensive repertoire in UNC's 59-17 victory over Georgia State on Saturday, rushing for a career-high 104 yards and two touchdowns and throwing for 352 yards and three touchdowns. It’s the second time in UNC history that a quarterback has thrown for 300 yards and rushed for 100 yards in the same game. (Inside Carolina)
