It was an explosive touchdown from Sam Howell that had UNC teammates mobbing him in celebration and offensive coordinator Phil Longo fist-pumping in delight. And in a departure from the norm, it came on a long run by the quarterback. Howell’s 62-yard touchdown scamper applied a finishing touch to the Tar Heels’ 59-17 blasting of Georgia State.
