UNC quarterback Sam Howell is forcing defenses to respect more than just his arm

Slide, Sam, Slide. That's the only request North Carolina football coach Mack Brown has when the Tar Heels' prized quarterback Sam Howell takes off running this season. Brown thinks of it to the extent that, during Howell's 62-yard touchdown run in their 59-17 win over Georgia State, he screamed "get down" until he realized that Howell was going to score.
