Tar Heels tailback Vince Wilson will transfer
Posted Aug 5, 2005
Reserve tailback Vince Wilson will transfer from North Carolina, a school spokesman confirmed Thursday. Wilson played in nine games last season as a freshman, carrying seven times for minus-3 yards. His departure hurts North Carolina's depth at a position whose starter, Ronnie McGill, might miss the season after tearing a muscle in his chest during an offseason workout. Wilson was listed second on the depth chart behind sophomore Barrington Edwards.
