UNC Ground Game Silences Virginia's Toughness Talk

Virginia defensive lineman Mandy Alonso had reservations about the Tar Heels’ ability to match his team's toughness. "We used it as motivation all week," running back Ty Chandler said following UNC's 20-point win. "But I think we’ll let them handle that and discuss it amongst themselves." Chandler ran for a career-high 198 yards and two touchdowns.
