North Carolina sophomore linebacker got the news that he was going to start vs. Virginia on the Thursday before the game. He was surprised, honored, and excited for the opportunity. Gray, a 6-foot-1.5, 222-pound inside linebacker from Charlotte, thrived in the role and notched six total tackles and one pass breakup in 45 defensive snaps. (Inside Carolina)
