North Carolina didn’t spend enough time in practice preparing for the possibility of Georgia Tech quarterback Jeff Sims playing. Linebacker Jeremiah Gemmel said as much in his postgame interview. UNC totaled 63 net rushing yards. That number was literally cut in half by sacks and tackles-for-loss as the Tar Heels also had 63 negative rushing yards.
