UNC's football program doesn't mind committing

Preseason camp has yet to begin. Signing day is five months away. But North Carolina already has assembled almost a full football recruiting class for 2006. Jacksonville White Oak High ' commitment Thursday gave the Tar Heels 19 known commitments before August began. That leaves coach a half-dozen scholarships to hand out, because the NCAA's limit is 25 per class. Many committed players attended camp at North Carolina this summer and pledged afterward.
